Named for Ashley's grandmother, Jane. Drawn by hand, made in small batches in New York City, and sized to carry the working day — 16-inch laptop included — into the evening.

Each Jane Tote is crafted in small batches from embossed leather — a natural material that carries its own character. Subtle variations in tone and texture exist between pieces, reflecting the nature of the leather itself and the hands that shaped it. No two are identical. Yours is made to be one of a kind.

A House built on a name.

SAMARIE joins two names: Ashley's own, and Sam's, her grandfather's. He was a people person and an entrepreneur, and he encouraged her to become one, too. So she did. The Jane Tote carries the name of her grandmother, Jane, a woman who carried what mattered and left everything else behind. This is not a brand. It is a legacy in motion.

Questions, answered.

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping within the United States typically takes 3–7 business days. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Complimentary shipping is included on all US orders.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in their original packaging. To begin a return, email support@samarie.com with your order number and reason for return. You’ll receive a Return Authorization Number along with detailed instructions. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the return. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
